Gold IRA
Noble Gold Reviews: Ratings, Minimums, Storage and Free Kit
Noble Gold is a California precious metals dealer led by its founder and CEO, Collin Plume. It sells gold, silver, platinum and palladium for IRAs and for delivery, and it has carved out a distinctive niche: segregated storage as standard, a depository in Texas as well as Delaware, and pre-packed "Royal Survival Packs" for buyers who want metal at home.
This review covers what the public record shows: Noble Gold's Better Business Bureau rating, its minimums, how its IRA and storage work, what it says about buying your metals back, and what comes in its free kit. Noble Gold is a partner of this site: if you contact it through our links, we may be paid. Facts below come from Noble Gold's own website and its BBB listing, read on November 5, 2026.
The short version: Noble Gold is an A+ rated dealer with a $20,000 IRA minimum, Equity Trust as custodian, segregated storage at International Depository Services in Delaware, Texas or Canada, a buyback program it describes as guaranteed, and a straightforward free kit. Reputation and ratings
BBB. Noble Gold's BBB listing shows an A+ rating. Remember that a BBB rating reflects how a business handles complaints and how long it has operated; it is not a review of prices.
Customer reviews. Noble Gold's site reports more than 265 reviews on the BBB, 777 on Google with a 4.9-star rating, 764 on Trustpilot and 953 on ConsumerAffairs. Those counts and scores are the company's own figures; check each platform for the current numbers.
Regulatory record. We searched for enforcement actions by the CFTC, the SEC and state attorneys general naming Noble Gold and did not find one in the sources we checked. That is not proof that no complaint exists; read the BBB complaints section before you buy from any dealer.
How much you need to start
Noble Gold's IRA pages state a $20,000 minimum for a gold or silver IRA and a $10,000 minimum for metals shipped to your home.
That places it between the companies we rank: above American Hartford Gold's $10,000 IRA minimum and well below Augusta Precious Metals' $50,000.
Storage: segregated, and not only in Delaware
Storage is where Noble Gold stands out.
- Segregated as standard. Noble Gold says IRA holdings are kept in segregated storage, allocated to you alone. Many companies quote commingled storage by default and charge more for segregated.
- A choice of location. It works with International Depository Services, with vaults in New Castle, Delaware, and Dallas, Texas, and a Canadian vault in Mississauga, Ontario.
- Texas storage. Noble Gold promotes its Dallas option as a private depository in the South, for buyers who would rather their metal were not held in Delaware or New York.
IRA metals must be held by an approved depository in any case; our guide to gold IRA tax rules explains why home storage does not work for an IRA.
Gold and silver IRAs
Noble Gold opens self-directed gold and silver IRAs with Equity Trust Company as custodian, and says its team works with Equity Trust to move funds from your existing account, typically within 3 to 7 days. You can view your account online through the custodian.
Costs. Noble Gold says its IRA uses a flat yearly charge that does not rise as your account grows, and it publishes the amounts on its site. We do not reproduce cost figures here, because they change; ask for the current schedule in writing and compare it with at least one other company's.
Its silver IRA pages correctly note the IRS purity standard for silver, 99.9%, and list eligible products such as American Silver Eagles, Canadian Silver Maple Leafs and Austrian Philharmonics. Our gold IRA rollover and silver IRA rollover guides explain how the move works.
Home delivery and Royal Survival Packs
For metals outside an IRA, Noble Gold ships insured to your door through what it calls Noble Express, with delivery in about five business days in a plain, unmarked box.
It also sells Royal Survival Packs: pre-assembled mixes of coins and bars, from $5,000 to $500,000, chosen for being widely recognized and easy to sell. They suit buyers who want a ready-made holding at home rather than choosing every item. As with any package, ask for the price of each item inside it and compare with buying the same coins separately.
Buyback
Noble Gold describes its buyback program as guaranteed: if you bought from it, it says, it will buy the metal back. It also offers to ship IRA metals to you on request when you take a distribution. Before you buy, ask how the buyback price is set and how quickly payment is made, and get the answer in writing.
The free kit
Noble Gold's Gold IRA Kit and Buyers Guide explains how a precious metals IRA works and includes the paperwork needed to start a rollover. You request it with your contact details, so expect a call from a specialist. Requesting it does not open an account or commit you to anything. Our article on the free gold IRA kit explains what to look for in these guides.
